Keno Methods That Make Money

April 14th, 2016 at 15:21

It will not commonly be deemed the most lucrative game in the world of gaming, but keno has tons of passionate fans. Why wouldn’t it? It’s a consistently exciting lotto-ish game that’s a snap to pickup, abundantly available in many different variations, and one that will yield mega-dollars for gamblers who master its heaps of subtle nuances. But let’s start with the basic rules here.

When defining keno to amateurs, some gambling experts compare it to bingo. This is at least partly apt, in that each game is basically numerical. But to carry that comparison too far would be to undervalue the many unique characteristics that make keno so exciting. Not like bingo, keno enthusiasts have the freedom to pick the numbers for each card.

Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the player is granted an additional degree of personal responsibility by being able to determine as numerous (or as few) numbers as she wants. And it doesn’t take a genius to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your desired numbers with a standardball point pen like you had back in the day.

Now that you have marked your numbers, take your game card back to the girl at the keno stand. The nice person will record your numbers and then hand you a receipt. Don’t drop this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the clerk remembers your pretty face and wants help out, without a winning slip in hand, you will win exactly $.00 for your time spent.

And there you have strategy numero uno: always make sure to keep your keno ticket. Let us move to something a little bit more complicated, yes?

Now that you’ve checked off your numbers, settle into a nice keno booth and observe the action take place on the monitor. That’s where the winning numbers appear for us. If you picked winners, mark your card accordingly. Make sure not to take your time, or sit there congratulating yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You want to get back to the keno booth to get your winnings, and then a new keno game will likely get going within 5 minutes.

Strategy number two: always make it back to the keno stand on time!

Assuming you don’t trust yourself to make that five-minute margin every time, you always have the option of using a "multi-race" ticket. These include the same set of your chosen numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 tickets. When the max amount of games (the same as the number of tickets) is finished, you are then able to get off your lazy back side and go retrieve your winnings.

Yet an additional choice is known as a "stray and play" keno card, which generally lets you make number choices for 30 keno rounds or more. Heck, you can take vacation to France and not have to fret about getting back in time to redeem your numbers. Most "stray and play" cards are good for up to a whole year after it’s purchased!

So now you are aware of a few required strategies for winning keno. If you are a discerning gambler, they may seem to be quite obvious. However, it does not hurt to bone up on the fundamentals, and if you are a beginner gambler, every bit of direction will help make your keno games more enjoyable.
