Keno is a game of luck with a rich and acclaimed background. The game that we know and love has experienced incredible changes since its earliest appearance. Gambling historians have traced its history as far back as 200 Before Christ to a Chinese form of diversion referred to as ‘The Game of the White Dove.’ It is a well-recorded certainty that a variation of keno was played in a bingo-like format on the eastern seaboard right around the time of the massive Chinese immigration during the gold rush.

In its current form, keno is a bit like bingo in that both games are based upon numbers. An individual keno card is printed with eighty numbers and the player is able to choose as many as she wants. This is accomplished by circling or otherwise marking the numbers using a pencil. After the player has marked the numbers, he/she must take the card back to the clerk at the keno booth. The clerk will then issue a ticket after recording the player’s numbers. It’s the responsibility of the player to trade in any winning keno card before the the next round begins, so stragglers must stay alert.

Now that we’ve reviewed a little bit of keno’s compelling background and basics of game play, you are probably itching to find out where you can play keno on the net. And that is only a reasonable thing for an avid keno player. Rest assured you have a lot of possibilities to pick from when it is time for some serious net keno excitement with all the fervor you might expect.
